Hiking

We have four beautiful hikes to choose from that showcase different elements of the local landscape and suit varying fitness levels. All our packages are curated by a local qualified guide along with one of the WILDfest™ team and our groups do not exceed 20 guests.

We provide a water bottle, catering (morning tea, light lunch or afternoon tea based on the package) and we do all the heavy lifting so when you reach that magic spot, your deck chair awaits to take it in and savour the beauty that is mother nature.

East Rim Track Fitzroy Falls – Beginners walk

Our walk starts at the Fitzroy Falls Visitor Centre and finishes where the Yarrunga Trail re-joins Nowra Road. This is a beautiful walk that showcases the stunning grandeur of Morton National Park as we follow the Yarrunga Creek with the backdrop of the Kangaroo Valley. Expect a vast array of flora and fauna as you weave under the canopy of this ancient rainforest. We rest at one of the lookouts to take in the vastness of this wildlife sanctuary

Bundanoon Creek & Fairy Bower – Intermediate Track

We start at the Bundanoon Loop Road and goes to the falls and then back via the Fairy Bower Access Trail for collection by car. It is a steep descent to the creek but well worth the effort once you reach the long glistening pools in the gorge setting. Have a swim, a snack or just listen to the local birdlife before we walk back uphill out of the gorge. Fairy Bower on the way provides great respite as the creek tumbles into a ferny glen creating a magical oasis.

Nicholas Pass- Beginners walk

Our walk starts at Mark Morton Access Road walking along the Amphitheatre Lookout Access Trail and then turning left onto Nicholas Pass Walking Track. This walk takes you through stringy bark forests, along the escarpments where you see the force of nature at it’s finest and witness a natural amphitheatre. We have set up our rest point at Riverview lookout for light refreshments.

Belmore Falls – – Intermediate Track

We commence our hike at Hindmarsh Lookout and loop down the Belmore Falls Lookout Track to the Grotto where we stop for a swim and light refreshments. This is pristine rainforest and the idyllic 7 metre waterfall is worth a careful descent.
